- The Drome is an electronic underground club where selected DJs live mix scratched mp3s and spin saved vinyl-regular/scattered sets and special events. Live DJs play top tunes from a tasty menu of house, acid, techno, electro, dub, dubstep, reggae, ska, deep house, chiptune and old skool stuff between the clicks and flips.. Eliza manages the Drome independantly and also collaborates on other special events and festivals including the official Detroit Electronic Music Festival virtual afterparty (http://www.demf.com), FOEM 5th Anniversary http://www.foem.info/), NewcastleGateshead in SL (http://vector76.co.uk/nginsl), Moebius Surfing Festival (http://www.moebiussurfing.net)SEAT, RFL and Buring Life - promoting, scheduling, resourcing and managing. The Drome was originally located at Galactica and in April of 2008 Eliza moved the Drome to Detroit Life sim (www.detroit-life.com) attracting a bigger croud with more live DJs and events! Regular weekly sessions include Kinetic Dubstep coordinated by CaptainBuck Rodgers and Fresh Static Techno (http://freshstatic.net) by Olaf Quintessa.
